Return Policy - Galedi Fabrics

Thank you for shopping at Galedi Fabrics! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Our Returns Guarantee

We are happy to accept returns or exchanges for most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In its original, unused condition.
  • With all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Free from any signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

Proof of purchase (original receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns and exchanges.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your return once received, and then an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, for hygiene, safety, and customisation reasons, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Cut Fabrics & Trims: Fabric sold by the metre is considered a custom order cut specifically for you and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. We strongly recommend checking samples before ordering larger quantities.
  • Sewing Patterns: Due to copyright restrictions, sewing patterns are non-returnable.
  • Opened or Used Haberdashery Items: This includes items such as threads, zips, buttons, needles, elastics, and other similar items that have been opened or used.
  • Sale Items: Items marked as "sale," "clearance," or "discounted" are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they are faulty.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the fault or damage.
  • Photos of the damage or fault.

We will assess the issue and, if confirmed faulty, will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund, including original shipping costs. Return shipping costs for faulty or damaged items will be covered by Galedi Fabrics.


4. Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for items of equal value, subject to availability. If the desired exchange item is not available, or if there is a price difference, we will issue a refund for the returned item and you can place a new order for the desired item.


5. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Please email us at sales@galedifabrics.com or call us at 020 8259 6881 to inform us of your intention to return an item. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Return Address Confirmation: Once you contact us, we will confirm the correct return address for your specific item(s), as we operate from different locations for fabrics and haberdashery. Do not send items back before contacting us.
  3. Packaging: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, if possible, or in suitable packaging to prevent damage during transit. Include your proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) inside the package.
  4. Shipping: You are responsible for the return shipping costs for unwanted items. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as Galedi Fabrics cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

6. In-Store Returns

Items purchased online can also be returned in our physical store at Greenwich Centre Business Park, Unit 12, 53 Norman Rd, London SE10 9QF, provided you have your order confirmation and the items meet the return criteria outlined above. Please check our opening hours before visiting.
